We are excited to announce we have partnered up with Le Skyzo LAN center to broadcast the Skyzo Cup #8 on June 15th. Skyzo Cup #8 will feature a double elimination Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm open bracket tournament with a prize pool of $480 on the line.
The tournament will feature notable French Canadian players such as AlexCMoi, Jig, and desRow.
The stream will go live starting at 5 PM EST from www.eschamp.com or on Twitch and it will be casted by Tanag and GZSwanson.
On May 25th, eight players came to Anime North to decide who would take the 2013 ELITE Series: Season 1 Finals. The players had gone through six weeks of rank stage to earn the right to play at the finals, and by the end of the night only one player was left standing: Masa from team Root Gaming. Masa didn’t drop a game sweeping the feeder round, blasting through the semi finals 3-1, and finally dominating the grand finals against Hendralisk from Team Complexity.
It was a spectacular season, and we want to thank you for watching and following our event!

We are ecstatic to announce that the Finals Bracket for Season 1 of the 2013 Elite Series is ready to go. If you have been following along, you’ll know that this will be the epic conclusion to our invitational. In the past few months, some of the top Eastern Canadian players have played in a swiss format rank stage,and the top eight have moved on to the Finals: a single elimination Championship Bracket.
On May 25th, the finals will be broadcast Live from the Anime North convention floor. Matches start at 10 AM EST.

With the first matches of the Elite Series about to come under way, we are proud to announce our partnership with team Killing Spree to bring their players to the competition. Killing Spree was a dominating force at Canada’s largest LAN, LAN ETS, where Zerg player Jig placed second.

The rank stage will use a Swiss Tournament System and will allow fans to help with the match selection process through our Facebook page. In the upcoming days we will reveal the player roster and kick off the season which will run live every Friday until the finals in May.
